LinkedIn, valuable?:
2 months ago I got put into a text group with a guy who has 450K followers on LinkedIn. I didn’t even know LinkedIn went up that high. Since then, I’ve taken a special interest in LinkedIn influencers. There’s a few emerging business models, but overall the space seems really early. There’s a ton of opportunity to monetize a LinkedIn following. TikTok is notoriously bad for monetization, Twitter also doesn’t always bring the most classy followers wit’ deep pockets. But.. LinkedIn is different, the average value of a follower is 5-10X? Because of the overall average for purchasing power is so much greater, when you have a social network full of corporate cards. Yet brands are still focused on selling through to TikTok. Influencer marketing on LinkedIn is a very much un/tapped space.
Anyways, all that is to say I found another guy who has 250K followers on there and I just signed up for his 12 week course 😂
I began my lessons on Monday, my first week goal is to schedule 60 posts using Taplio and Twefury (I believe that’s the second tool).
Taplio so awesome, let’s you schedule out LinkedIn posts ahead of time, comes with nice interface that lets you easily remix other popular posts.
Let’s say right now I average 1K impressions per post
(Data from trailing 7 days)
Overall, about 1-3K impressions per day, hyper niche
hyper niche impressions of AR/VR/Founder/CEO as the key categories
I’m going to lean in on this LinkedIn course I’m taking by Matt Gray and see where it takes me 👏
Ps. pumped we got featured in the Kickstarter newsletter!
