Did you watch the full video above? Great! Here’s Pt. II
Past Week Highlights:
Summary of Days 8, 9, 10
Last week was a really strong one, albeit a very exhausting one.
closed first client (ironic, because it was the same day I lost money on First Republic… net net, positive)
sent proposal for second client
signed on co-founder to lead Metaverse Monday newsletter content **first 10 subscribers will be featured every day in our newsletter until the end of 2023 as a thank you for your belief and helping us get this started with momentum
scheduled event for next week with a group of ex-meta people. Message me if you want the invite. Exclusive to ex-meta
cleared 10 songs through licensing with Tunecore, they begin to go live to Spotify and Apple Music on May 15th
had 15 phone calls with people, including 3 straight nights of calls past 9 PM
While last week was productive, it also reminded me how important balance is. So to counter last weeks spree of meetings and networking, I’m focusing this week on primarily introverted activities.
Goals This week
I need to create fundraising materials for my client, and begin to build our Kickstarter page. Last week we spoke with the exec team at Kickstarter and I feel we stand a very good chance of raising money in June.
Record a video per day for Sub-stack, I want to measure the uptick in engagement using this format. I also want to get in the habit of creating more videos as I see Youtube to being a very valuable asset
Host an epic ex-Meta even on Wednesday, see if we can find those people some jobs!
Finalize the 2 institutional funds who will be involved with Doncor, and finalize the 3 family offices
Publish a daily article on Doncor using help from GPT to measure if this drives an increase of traffic, launch first google ad successfully for this project
Warren Buffett and Charlie Munger, at it again
Many of you know WB for his investing expertise, or CM for his brashness to the academics of the world. So I found it absolutely hilarious when the two of them answered a ‘question from the audience about banking’ by first displaying name tags. Warren’s said ‘available for sale,’ and his 99 year old counterpart Charlie’s read, ‘Held-to-maturity.’ Nothing better than a good finance joke :)
I highly recommend watching the full talk here
How can you help?
