Premium Members - there’s an unreleased podcast episode behind the paywall for you. It’s with Michael Rucker, he was Head of Content for Google back in 2014, then Larry and I invested into their VR startup, which he and Brad sold to Facebook. Michael and I catch up, review that journey we took together, and then we get to hear about what he’s working on now.

hint: It’s big. Literally. Physically, big.

TRENDS I’M WATCHING

This section is where I’ll share favorite podcasts and youtube content which does a good job of diving into the nuances of important trends

Fuel for motivation : “At the end of the day, you’ve gotta feel some type of way, so why not feel unbeatable. unstoppable.”

-Connor McGregor

This is the talk of the town. It covers the rags to rich story of McGregor, a guy who basically kept a camera recording on himself from the days of fighting in a small gym, all the way to the days of winning championships in front of packed arenas. This is the chronological compilation of that footage.

A tale of someone who’s flawed but creates awe, a legendary name within the Sports world.

Watch the Netflix show here

Short-Form Summaries : Shaan and Sam do a good job of capturing the essence of the lessons within the McGregor docuseries and summarising it (18:50)

Censorship + Online Culture : I still highly recommend this JK Rowling Audio Series. It’s a well worth 6 hours, and you can pace it over time. It really does a fascinating job of capturing multiple perspectives on an issue where two sides both believe firmly they are right. But as they say, would you rather be right or happy?

“If you are threatening, if you are threatening to remove livelihoods, if you are saying this person is “cancelled”, that is the language of a dictator, “I cancel you, I obliterate you, you are dead.” I mean I’ve literally lost count of the number of times I’ve seen the hashtag #RIPJKRowling” -JK Rowling…

“When it comes to controversial issues, wether it’s abortion or racism, Brexit or Trump, vaccines or covid school closures, its’ becoming much more common not just for disagreement to be heated and fierce but for people to see anyone who doesn’t share their view as evil. for many on-lookers, even ones who vehemently disagree with the questions and objections JK Rowling is raising, she is highlighting a breakdown in the fabric of a pluralistic society.”

If you already listened based on the first time I recommended this, would really love for you to leave a comment with your thoughts about the questions raised by the interviewer

GOALS I’VE ACCOMPLISHED

This section is where I cover recent thing that have gone right

+ Working our way through our Kickstarter page, as well as collecting interest to join our waiting list

+ Metaverse Monday is up to 6 paying subscribers in our first month, pretty good show of early value.

+ Booked Jozzy as our headline artist for our Dallas and Atlanta shows

REMEMBERING THE PIONEERS

This section is where I’ll honour and say thanks to a legendary #Builder

Since P. Diddy is the one who’s a constant innovator within the entertainment and beverage industry, it’s great to see him pick out Jozzy to be the first artist signed to his new label, LOVE RECORDS. Diddy see’s a great market opportunity for marketing to Jozzy’s audience of mostly all females, Jozzy’s first album ‘Songs for Women’ shows love to her LGBQT community. We are really pumped to see what Jazzy does with her career, and equally as excited to share this wonderful clip from history. It’s Diddy getting his first MTV Feature, it’s pure motivation flowing out of him as he explodes with pride and happiness. And confidence. He’d go on from this moment to build an empire, with an estimated net worth of $900,000,000. It’s a great come up story.
